In 1998, Powermotive’s production of caliper pistons expanded from the automotive market to also include caliper pistons for industrial applications. Due to this expanded range of production, an additional 14,000 square feet were added to the manufacturing area for a total of 36,000 square feet. This space welcomed new CNC machines to produce other kinds of products. With these new production capacities, the company expanded into other markets, therefore offering new machining solutions.

In 2008, the company became Powermotive Industries Inc. following its acquisition by the current owner Mrs. Josée Brechbuhl who has more than 20 years experience in the industrial sector.
